This last weekend, we did 2 things we have been wanting to do FOREVER! We went to our favorite lake, and camped there! I can't say this enough, BUT we REALLY REALLY missed the desert and the red rock, and ESPECIALLY Sand Hollow! It's one of my favorite places ever. It is beautiful. When I was single and lived in St. George, my friends and I would come to Sand Hollow a lot. The water is really clean and beautiful, and there are big red rocks sticking up out of the water that you can swim to, dive from, or tan on! It really is AWESOME! I could spend all day there in the sun. Lots of people come for the sand dunes. But I love the sandy beach. The sand is perfect. It's so fine and soft and red! The best!!
Well, this was Jaxon's first time camping. And now I see why people don't take babies camping. Ok, he wasn't that bad, but kind of. First of all, he did not want to go to sleep, and I guess if my parents took me out in the middle of nowhere to sleep in a big weird thing called a tent, I wouldn't want to sleep either. But right as we got him calmed down, some very considerate people decided to drive their loud 4-wheelers up and down the road over and over again. By this time, it was after mid-night and we were SO MAD! Andrew went out and waited on the road for them to drive by and asked them to stop. They did , but went back to their camp and turned on loud music and threw a party instead! UGGHH! By then, Jax was pretty riled up and onry. So, we decided to put him in the back of the car! We put a ton of blankets for padding, and it looked quite comfy! He went to sleep pretty fast after that. We felt like awful parents, but really he was better off and so were we.
After a pretty exhausting night (sleeping on sand really isn't as comfortable as it sounds) , we got up and played in the Lake! Even though Jax was tired, he liked it for awhile. It was so fun! And we got the sun we NEEDED. We love you Sand Hollow!!

Aww...taht looks like so much fun. now I want to go, but I'll probably have the same baby problems! We've neer taken Neils camping, so I wonder what it would be like.

Don't tell Kevin you took Jaxon camping-he's been trying to convince me all summer. It sounds like you had an adventure! Jaxon looks so grown up! Alecia-you should have a photography business!

Man I miss you guys SOOOOOOO much. You are seriously a GREAT photographer. I LOVE all the pictures you have. I have missed seeing your blog cause we don't have the internet here yet. SO I read that you are watching LOST!!!! YEAH!!!! OF course you love Jack, because he is my TV crush this past year. ANy movie he has been in I go CRAZY. Just ask Tye. Man I wish we lived close. We are SOOO much alike and we could have SOOOO much fun. I am glad we at least have blogs so we can see what is up with each other. I hope all is well with you guys. You look SOOO cute and so happy.
