Cute Jaxon Things

Since I take more pictures than I know what to do with or have the time for, I will every once in awhile do a random post like so. They will mainly be about Jaxon. So, if you are not a fan of Jaxon, I suggest you do yourself a favor and quit reading now.

This boy is such a cute stinky guy. Almost everyday he's doing something that I have to snap a few of.

Here is Jaxon's BFF. I swear he would marry this kid. He looooooves him. They have such a blast together. It's the cutest thing.

Dad & Jax reading Christmas books!

Yeah, I know CHRISTMAS! Definitely NOT OKAY with me, but try telling Andrew that. He loves Christmas and wants to start earlier every year. It's really quite nice, because this is the time of year when he seems happiest. He even gets giddy too. I'll take ridiculously early festiveness if it means a giddy Andrew. I think you would too.

And here's just a little taste of the excitement that was shown when we put up the Christmas lights. ONCE AGAIN, NOT MY DOING! I believe in giving thanksgiving it's proper honor and respect. But noooo.

And here is the school bus/bath time series. I'm sure you will see plenty more of this here and there. It's a mixture of 2 things Jax is quite fond of. I love this cute kid.

I have more to come soon on topics such as binkies and tampons. (Neither one related to the other, of course)

This little monster keeps me busy, that's for sure!

Birthday Party (Finally!)

I know I'm a little late at blogging this, but I've been a busy lady. Ok, not lady, girl.

Anyway.

Jaxon's party was awesome!! We decided to do a "school bus" theme, and it was NOT an easy theme. But it came together, I thought.

Jaxon loves school buses and people. So this was heaven for him!

We actually had a really good turn out. You can't really tell from the pictures but we had a pretty nice group!

Thanks to everyone who came! Jax sure had a blast!!

We tried to do a "school lunch" thing. See, we even had the trays!

One of Jaxon's favorite things to do right now is color. And lucky us, it ties right in with the theme.

Jax was really confused about the concept of opening presents. He did not like it. That is, until he started seeing the toys inside of the boxes.

And here is my attempt at a school bus cake. Yeah, I know. Laugh it up. I'll have you know that yes, it was rough. Very , very rough. This baby is made out of 3 cakes & 8 twinkies. We had looooots of cake at least.

Jaxon was also confused by this part. He even pulled a little fit when we tried to get him to blow out the candle.

So we made Grandma help him!

Here's another one of the presents we got Jax. A radio flyer tricycle! He loves it!

I can't believe my bear is 2! He's a little boy now. He acts so grown up. He does and says something new everyday, I swear! I can't keep up!

Halloween!

Halloween this year was pretty dang awesome.

I'm sad it's over.

Here we are carving our pumpkins. Or well, gutting them. Ok, that sounds gross.

Now here's when the actual carving began. This seriously is andys face when he carves pumpkins. He's gonna kill me when he sees this on here, but that's the point. Maybe then he'll realize how silly he looks and he'll stop doing it!! Haha!

THE DAY OF HALLOWEEN STARTED A LITTLE SOMETHING LIKE THIS:

Jax loves to read books. Especially books with "scary people". He secretly loves to get scared. this book has a vampire that laughs at the end. he freaks out but loves it at the same time. he's so strange ! He thinks that by giving the "scary people" hugs and kisses, it will make them nice. It's hilarious to watch him kiss everything he thinks is scary!

Followed by his Halloween Elmo movie

Then my favorite part of the day...NAPTIME!

This is how he was sleeping! He's so stinking cute with that silky of his.

While he slept, I made chili. It took FOR E VER! I had to chop onions and I hate that. I had make up on but by the end it was smeared all over my face and my eyes felt a little swollen. Then I had to individually peel 2 jumbo cloves of garlic. Also not really my cup of tea. But I did it, and that's what matters. I have a picture of it, but it kind of looks like throw up and that's really not what I want to portray.

It was actually really, really good. I'm thinking of MAYBE doing it again next year. It was that good!

Lots of people were saying , "oh she looks so cute!" Andrew and I just laughed.

Jax looooooved trick or treating!

This year we were pleasantly surprised and not all prepared. We actually had more than 4 trick or treaters! Try like 400! Turns out our neighborhood is the BOMB when it comes to Halloween. Kids come from surrounding areas to trick or treat here. There were kids everywhere. It was like a huge costume block party. Parents were even out and dressed up. It was great!!

When we had hit every street in our neighborhood, we decided to call it good. Jax wasn't having it though! He even WALKED almost the whole time. He wanted MORE! He really wanted to go back out. Cute thing!

After that , we invited our friends over to have some Chili, apple cider and donuts! (Tradition!)
