First Ice cream CONE.

Sadly, I am pretty sure that this was Jaxon's very first time with a real live ice cream CONE. He's had plenty of icecream, but no cone. I think.
Thought I better document this. Your first ice cream cone rates right up there in importance next to taking your first steps, or learning to ride a bike.
JK. Thought this was cute anyway though.

The Ranch.

Both sides of my family own land. My Dad's side has a Ranch in Beaver. We decided to stop there on the way home to St. George. Andrew had never been there. It was better weather, and so pretty. We collected some wild flowers and put them on my great grandpa's grave. It was way fun and interesting to wander around up there. I hadn't been there for years. We went into some of the old cabins. One of them had a bunch of old sayings and poems written all over the wall. We found one written by my Grandpa (who died when I was 5). It was really really cool to read that. I feel like for the first time in my life, I celebrated Memorial day the right way.

The view of the Ranch from the gravesite on the hill.

yes, I know. My hair looks like a crazy lion wild woman.

HOPE YOU ALL HAD A HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!!

The Cabin.

This weekend we went up to Richfield to my Grandpa Hansen's Cabin!! Some of my earliest camping memories were here, at this cabin. Almost every year, sometimes twice a year, we went to the cabin. It was so fun because my uncles, Kellon & Kevin would come with. They were like older brothers to me. It was sooooo much fun. We would ride-fourwheelers, catch horny toads, make homemade clay pots out of dirt and water, play games at night, make up songs....it goes on & on. Unfortunately, we all grew up. Maybe someday , with some luck, we will all be able to get together again like the old days. I also have lots of memories at the cabin that were spent with our friends, The Lebarons. My parents & them go waaaay back. I grew up with the Lebarons. A lot of our cabin outings were shared with the Lebarons. Even though we're all grown up now, we were all able to make it this time. Except for my bro Carson who is on a mission. Well, ok and my bro Tanner who has a broken foot. But it almost felt like all of us. The fun thing about growing up, is sharing your childhood memories with your kids. This was Jaxon's first time at the cabin. It was fun.....kind of. Jaxon was kind of a stinker at night. Ok, a big stinker. He woke up at 3:30 and HAD to sleep in bed with us. I didn't sleep AT ALL. That makes cabin time rough. ALSO, the weather was horrid. It rained and rained and rained basically the whole time. And it was cold. But, oh well. We did have SOME fun, as you can see from the billions of pictures below.....

I am glad we came. Fresh air is NICE.

This was carved into the cabin after we got married- AWESOME HUH?

This is my Dad's cute lil' doggy, Zeus.

Jax loved riding on the fourwheelers.

These are the Lebarons: well some of them.

No one actually uses this outhouse. It's pretty disgusting, but I think it's cute. Until you step inside.

Relax. Be nice. Whatever.
