An Evening Stroll

A couple nights ago, we decided to take a walk on the bike trail that goes all over st.george. It's a really cool trail, actually. It seriously goes everywhere and NEVER ends. A lot of people bike or jog on it, but it's a good place to go on a family walk too. Jax, of course LOVED to get out, and it was nice for us too....UNTIL....we saw a TARANTULA! I just spell checked that- and it's right. BUT EEEEWWW! Yeah, a real live tarantula in the wild! I have NEVER seen one in the wild like that I wanted to scream. I was HUGE and hairy and nasty! I can't believe it was just walkin around like that. SICK. Andrew said those live here in the desert! I have never seen one while living here. It was a little disturbing, really. We saw it on the way up, and on the way back! It hadn't moved!

"I was HUGE and hairy and nasty!" We know, we know... but must you remind us?

I am fan of the picture with Andrew right next to it. I would have done the same. And on a side note I really enjoyed Kellon's comment above.

Oh my heck! Yuck! On friday, my husband and I were walking to a play in an ampitheatre in Provo, and there was a big black tarantula walking around! I couldn't believe it! I had no idea they lived in Utah either! I have never seen one in the wild before this. Then I go to your blog and it's the same thing. Crazy!

Relax. Be nice. Whatever.
