Sunday Drive

ah, I love sunday drives. we made a new rule here at the talbot house. well, i made the rule. Because, honestly this was verging on becoming ridiculous. NO X-BOX ON SUNDAY. yay!

this means....now we HAVE to spend time as a family. now we HAVE to find other things to do. now, maybe just maybe we can get into a routine of going on sunday drives. I love them, Andrew not so much. To me , it's such a great time to relax and get away as a family. get out and breathe fresh air and enjoy the beauty of the wonderful outdoors! i love it!

So, here is what we did last sunday..

oh, it was joyous.

have i ever mentioned how i love st. george? it feels like springtime. it has all winter, actually. i love how it's often too hot to wear even a light jacket.

jax loves exploring too. he would find "cascus" (cactus) and get all scared of them, and secretly love it. (as said in previous posts, jax secretly loves scary things.) ever since that day, he talks about finding "cascus" and how they are "too scary" or "too mean" or "too pokey".

see that rock? andrew wrote 'the talbi 2010' on it.

it looks like either jaxon is doing a peace sign , or has deformed fingers.

my fave photo of the day. also found on my   365 Blog

look at the yummy dead trees! love them!

andy found a chunk of petrified wood! see there are treasures to be found for everyone.

jaxon was an ornery stinky bum. this is when he refused to walk, and wouldn't let me carry him. can you say naptime?

i love these plants. i don't know what they are , but they are gorgeous. they look like cotton. maybe they are?

aw, cute!

Sunday drive=family time
family time=what i think sundays should be all about

yeah, no pictures of me. I'll work on that.

I like your no x-box on sunday rule! I might just have to enforce that at our house, too! :)
