Arizona!

Yes, that's right. I do blog about EVERYTHING that is even remotely "exciting" in our lives. Today, because I insisted on going on one of our "sunday drives", after church (where by the way, we were just given a new calling to teach sunday school to 16 year olds!) Andrew drove us out to the "Arizona Strip". Come to find out, Arizona is only like 10 minutes away from St.George. Isn't that awesome? To me it is. Another state!!

And in this other state, this is what we found.....

But even in times such as these .. I STILL bring along my camera.

We decided it's still "pretty" in a very desertish kind of way.

As for Jaxon, he doesn't really care where we go, as long as its OUT. Hmmm...that sounds familiar. He very much appreciated this open space to waltz around like so.

Eventually, we did stumble upon something in this vast desert that caught our eye.

Petroglyphs! We discovered that we were walking around in an ancient Indian place of worship!

Yikes!

Even if seems about as weird & boring & dull as ever possible, it was still fun to get out and get the fresh air, spend some family time together (doing something other than sleeping), AND be in a different state , all at the same time!
