what do you do on a rainy day?

And, the rain is back! good grief! Just when I thought we'd had enough, IT'S BACK!

So, what do you do on a rainy day?

Here's what we did:

Jaxon is at such a fun age. He's a little boy now. He wants to learn everything, do everything, see everything. It's tiring, but it's also fun, because he GETS things.

Today was jax's first official time to attend "story time" at the public library. I tried it with him last year, and it wasn't a big hit. He wouldn't hold still and listen.

This time, he's older and smarter. He LOVED it. There were tons of really rowdy kids there, so the stories were hard to hear, but Jax still really loved it. He's such a good kid. He loves to sit and listen to things, and think about them. I love to watch his little face when a story is being read. Going to this story time made me realize how well-mannered he is. It made me proud! I hope he always stays this way. He has such a desire to learn.

So fun.

The librarian read a few books, they did some singing and dancing, and lastly we made a craft. The stories read were about mice, so we made mouse ears. jax actually loved them and wore them.

Then I had him choose out some books to check out. I always loved going to the library as a kid & choosing out books. I want jax to learn to love it , too.

What a perfect rainy day!
