Christmas Morning!

Finally, I'm posting Christmas Morning! I've been too busy enjoying the holidays to get any hardcore blogging done. I hate getting behind on blogging. This is like my photo journal. I don't really have time for scrapbooking anymore. Even though at times I have gotten a little blog crazy, I am glad I did it, because I look back at the past year, and almost every event was blogged. It's so fun to look through and see those memories. I hope blogger keeps these pictures somewhere forever! And there's my sappy love story about blogging.
On with Christmas morning..
Andrew OF COURSE insisted on waking up early. But even 9am is early to me. He wanted 7 and I convinced him to stay in bed til 7:30. Good grief! We had to go wake jax up. Not my favorite thing to do. He DID NOT want to get up. That is, until we told him about opening presents. He shot right out of bed.
Here are quite a few pics of the morning... Jax had a total blast. Well, until we had to tell him some presents just weren't for him. So sad.

this was "from jaxon". He pulled all the stickers off andrew's old rubics cube, which by the way, yes, he can solve it.

couldn't contain his excitement. He was such a good boy though. He always waited for us to give him a present to open. He's such a fun age.

this is when we had to tell him it was mom's turn, not jax's turn.

andrew got some much needed hats. you WILL NOT be seeing him in that nasty crusty old brown american eagle hat anymore!

Here are some of the fun things each of us got this year:

ANDREW: A toolbox, a dutchoven, clothes, a shop vac, binoculars. NOPE, NO big screen TV, Home theatre system or shotgun! His list was SOOO EXPENSIVE!

ALECIA: a new plate/cup/bowl set, a tanning pass, a straightener, a computer stand, clothes, perfume, hand held yahtzee, a crock pot. NO PHOTOSHOP OR NEW CAMERA. My list was way expensive too!

JAX: he got SOOO MUCH! um, a fire engine, a remote control tractor, jungle animals, movies, books, coloring books, a t-ball set, lots of cars, a race track thing, a fishing game, puzzles..etc , etc, etc.

THANK YOU SANTA!

After playing with toys, we went up to pine valley to find some Christmas snow. Pictures of that are further down. It was SO NICE & PERFECT to go on a beautiful, peaceful drive together as a family. Definitely a tradition I want to keep going.

After that, we got home & Andrew's Mom, Dad & brother came over. They brought us lots of fun gifts!

And here's Andy being amazing and cooking the Christmas dinner mostly all by himself. I think I heated the green beans and stirred the gravy. I hate cooking!

The dinner was SOOOO YUMMY! Good job, Andy!

WE HAD SUCH A MERRY CHRISTMAS! HOPE ALL OF YOU DID TOO!
