We have done so many fun things this holiday, and sadly now it's coming to a close. I'm kind of happy though. Life can slow down, my house can be clean once again, and we can go back to normal routines. How boring am I?
Now I have time to blog. Yay! I've missed it.
But all I've got now is Christmas Eve.
This Christmas Eve was almost perfect. All we were missing was a little snow. It was just how we wanted it, JUST the 3 of us, home & together. Perfect.
Here is what we did and hopefully, these will be traditions our little family will look forward to & enjoy doing every year.

This is such an awful picture but you get the idea. We found a house in Santa Clara that has lights that are hooked up to a radio station, and the lights flash with the beat of the music. It was pretty awesome.
here's our before santa tree.
Andrew read the story in the Bible about Christ's Birth.
The only decent picture we were able to get of me and Mr. Smelly pants.
Jaxon was SOOOO EXCITED!
He loved this "Eighty-nine's" puzzle. (thats what he calls the ABCs)
This is the AWESOME painting I won from the FABULOUS artist Stephanie Toland. Go check her out. I love her work.
This is when we tucked Jax in and told him all about how Santa is coming & what we're going to do in the morning. He was so excited.
AND CUTE.
After the Smelly was in bed, we started our own little tradition. We watched The Christmas Carol & ate crackers & cheeseball, Eggnog & Sprite. (ok, only andy had the eggnog with sprite. yucka.)

our "family ornament" for this year. We have one for every Christmas we've been married. So that's four. I want to keep getting them for every year. The picture is fun to look at, and it also reminds us of that Christmas.
Our Stockings.
our after santa tree. we were a little spoiled this year.
this tree is so fantastic. it will be sad when we have to chop it up into tiny parts and shove it in our trash can. I can't watch.
What a great tree.
Andy & I just sat by it and stared at it. We reminisced about past Christmases.
Perfection.
Then bedtime.
*Christmas Morning* coming soon.
