Sweet boys

 Update on Jax
- We signed Jax up for Soccer! He starts at the end of this month! We're hoping he does well with it and enjoys it. we are very PRO-sports for boys, we believe lots of good comes from it. Jax doesn't show too much interest in sports though, so we're  a bit worried that he won't like it. i don't want this to become a bad experience for him, so we're hoping he catches right on with it!

-Jax is still in preschool . he loves it. he's such a smartie pants and he's a bit beyond what they are learning there but i think its a great opportunity for him to socialize with other kids his age. that's half or more of what's important in life, i think. he's doing great. his teachers love him and he's making new friends there. a kid in his class was able to choose one friend from preschool to go to his bday party, and he chose jax. i thought was pretty cute.

-Jax's best friend is Ellie. He loves her. the play all day everyday. they go back and forth , but mostly they are over at Ellie's house. its such a beautiful break and i can't imagine a life without ellie! one day, i walked in on them sitting on the floor watching star wars, kind of cuddled up together. they were sitting really close, and ellie had her hand on his opposite leg. he's said before that ellie has tried to kiss him, but he said no. hahahaha! oh my gosh. cutest kids ever! they just love each other. i don't know how they do it, but they play for hours together. they aren't rowdy or annoying. they just go back and play play play. i've spied on them before. they love to bring ellie's pink and purple ponies over and play pretend with them....(yeah...see why we're signing jax up for sports as soon as possible?) they love to watch star wars (well, he does. and i think she just goes along with it), and they color pictures and play with all kinds of toys. cute, cute kids. Ellie is way tiny and talks like a little mouse. she's about 8 months younger than jax. i think they'll get married :)

-Jax is a pro big brother. he lets mason squeal and scream while they watch cartoons. he lets mason claw and grab and his nose, ears and face. he defends him like nothing else. if we even so much as tease mason , jax is right there protecting him, telling us to stop. he loves to touch him, hug him, kiss on him, talk to him and just be with him. Jax loves babies so much. everywhere we go, he points them out. he's asked me a few times when we're gonna have our "grill" baby. hahahahaha..... oh i love this kid.

-Jax loves arts and crafts. i love this about him! its so fun! he loves holidays and so do i. so every holiday, him and i craft it up. he also loves books, and i love to read to him. we love ordering books from his preschool book orders every month!

-Jax is 41 lbs and 41 inches tall. i don't know what per centile he's in.

-Mason continues to be better and better of a baby. He's a sleeping machine. i don't know if this is just normal baby behavior or what. He'll sleep through the night most nights, for like 12 ish hours. then he'll take 2 naps. one is usually an hour and the other is like 2 hours! its nuts!! i love it! he's his momma's son, no doubt!

- he is in the 20% percentile in height and weight, but his head is in the 80's.....yep sounds about right, sadly.

-he's a pretty mellow guy. he loves to eat, and wants to eat everything. he's liked all the baby jar flavors we've tried so far, except sweet potatoes. that was jax's favorite!

-he's such a sweet cuddle bear and i just wanna squeeze and love him all day. but ...he needs his sleep. he likes to go to sleep alone now, no rocking. he likes to be put in his crib with a few blankets on, and his binky, and he'll go to sleep on his own in like 3 minutes. when he wakes up, he usually just sits in there and talks. sometimes i'll wonder if he's awake and i'll go check on him and he'll be in there just smiling with his eyes open. silly kid! jax was very very very different!

- he loves jax sooo much. he laughs at him, stares at him, grabs at him, and loves to be with him. they like to watch cartoons together in the front room, or watch star wars together on jax's bed. cute, cute boys.

i just love these two and sometimes it hits me how lucky i am to have them. they are so sweet and pure and bring so much love to us! (cheesy? yes.)
