Soooo.....thanks to pinterest, i found a girl like me. she just had baby #2, and wants to lose weight! she's done it before (not so much like me) & is ready to do it again! i'm so glad i found her. i'm gonna stalk her now. here is her blog:: Mama Laughlin . She is hilarious and inspirational and well, i'm just glad i found her. She is starting the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. i actually have that DVD already, so i'm gonna start it with her! she is one day ahead of me.
I have finally come to terms with the fact that i am not like other girls. i don't naturally lose weight by sitting there doing whatever i want. sad, but true story. i don't have "skinny" genes (hahah pun intended. get it?) i'm not naturally small or petite. i don't have fast metabolism. there is no secret diet or pill for me. i have to work harder. and still, i'll never be as small as those girls. thats just me, and that's just life. suck it up, right? all the whining and wishing in the world is not gonna change any of that. well, that's easier said than done. i can't say i'm never gonna whine again. that would be a lie.
so here they are : my BEFORE pics.
measurements:
(6 months post partum)
weight: 197lbs
waist: 37 in
hips: 41.5 in
bust: 43 in
arms: 13 in.
thigh: 24 in.
pants size: 14/15
my goals:
my long term goal is to weigh 155 lbs & be in a size 11.
my goal in 30 days: lose 10lbs & go down a pants size.
how i plan on getting there:
-doing the 30 day shred workout (7days a week for 30 days)
-eating 1200 calories a day & using an online diary (my fitness pal) to keep track.
-drinking 80oz of water a day (10 cups)
we'll see where this gets me in 30 days... eek i'm kind of scared!
i know i need to do this, but i doubt myself and my willpower (i have none when it comes to sweets)
and i get kinda (ok maybe WAY) lazy when it comes to workouts.
BUT ...imma do this.
my inspiration is my friends wedding in a couple weeks AND family pictures in April. i want to look good in each of these things. AND i wanna be hotter than my ex-boyfriends wife! hahaha don't tell me you don't wish the same thing! i can totally be hotter than her. and for some sick reason, that makes me feel so great. whatever works, right?
okay. i'm gonna leave you with that half naked image of me to think about all day. you lucky people!
OH AND i am freely welcoming encouraging thoughts and nice comments on this matter. just so ya know.

i NEVER would have guessed. it even looks like you have some muscle! i am all flab. but i'm the same. i can't loose weight worth a darn. imagine my surprise when i stopped eating sugar and went on a cleanse and i lost 10 pounds! now to keep it off and keep going...
DON'T GIVE UP!!! you can do this. you. can. do. this.
You go!! I was going to comment on your other post, but I'll post here instead :) I was just going to say, that what you call "whining" is good motivation for yourself. I have no motivation at ALL. I was always skinny in high school and could eat/drink whatever I wanted, but I was also a swimmer, so I burned more than enough to make up for it. I got married, sat on my butt, ate the same and then popped out 3 kids. After I had Peyton and I was finished having kids, I only weighed 125 which is 10 pounds over what I had when I had gotten married. I was pudgy in the stomach area and had ugly hip things. I figured it would be easy to get rid of the weight since it was only 10 pounds. I'd do some exercising here and there, but could never get it to come off. Then my weight just kept creeping up. I would "complain" to people about it, and they'd tell me to shut up because I was still skinny and "looked great for having 3 kids" well.. I didn't want that excuse! I feel like crap about myself all the time. I didn't have as many problems as others, and I was grateful, but I can't tell you how many times people have asked me if I was pregnant in the last 5 years. Strangers, my family member.. its frustrating and humiliating. Now, here I am at 145 lbs and it sucks. I signed up for the fitness class at the college since I'm there anyways and have been running on the treadmill at the college gym. I have been doing that for 6 weeks and have not lost 1 single pound. I need to eat healthier and I reallllly need to stop drinking soda. Your post has inspired me to try harder and I think you are amazing for putting yourself out there. You can do this!!! Sorry I rambled so long. Good luck with your working out, I hope it all goes well for you!!!
Go Alecia! You can do it! I'm excited to see your progress. I have taken pictures like this, but I'm too scared to put them up.
Oh, and at least you have good boobs. (Sorry if that's awkward for me to say that. I mean it in the most non perverted, non sexual way. :)) I am fat and have absolutely no boobs. I hate it.
