Here i am, FINALLY blogging the Talbot halloween party!
this two kids thing really slows me down!
anyway, like always , this party was a hit!
we always look forward to the halloween party because andrew's mom goes all out. its awesome!
she always dresses up, decorates her house like crazy & makes awesome halloween looking food!
the kids love it. jax LOVES halloween and being around kids, so he was basically in heaven during this.
This year andrew & I (but mostly andrew) did a treasure hunt. we made up this story about how "gary the gardner" (who is nice) used to be the gardner in grandpa's garden. he loved halloween but never got to go to any parties. he died and now haunts (nicely) the garden and watches the halloween parties every year. this year, so he could join in on the fun, he made a treasure hunt for the kids.
andrew wrote this awesome , very clever treasure hunt poem. i thought the kids weren't going to be able to get the clues, but the older ones did and they LOVED it! it was so fun to watch their eyes light up when they figured out where the next clue would be, then watch them search everywhere for it. the younger kids, like jax, didn't get it of course, but they liked running around with the older kids.

You guys always have such fun holiday traditions! And thank you for saying your comment about red hair! It makes me feel better to know that there are some people out there that also like red heads! haha Your boys are soooo adorable!
Oh, Alecia, you are so awesome for taking pictures for us camara-shy Talbots!!! They are so cute! You made my pathetic jack-o-lantern veggies and ghost strawberries look good!
