Silly Girls

Okay, if anyone knows me very well or is friends with me on facebook,

you should know that I am involved in this amazingly good time called Silly Girls.

Its basically a cool girls club that meets every month. We're assigned a theme by the silly girls united 'inventor' (who is genius and way awesome) & we dress up in ridiculous outfits and take the COOLEST pictures of eachother.

I've been with this group for a year now. We had our one year anniversary in July.

Let me tell you how much I love silly girls.

Silly girls is something i look forward to every month.

it is a time when i can be silly and stupid.

its a time without KIDS.

its a time when i'm surrounded by those who lift me up and make me feel good about who i am.

its a time when i get to be creative & use my photo skills.

its SUCH a good time. I haven't had this much fun since before i got married and had kids. honestly, i didn't know it was possible anymore. i love feeling young and stupid again!

(k now let the cheesiness begin)

I am so thankful that i get to be a part of this group. These girls are such great friends. seriously. I haven't had a good group of friends like this, well probably EVER. they are all so sweet & accepting of eachother. they are all such GOOD people with good hearts. when we have problems, we work them out maturely. we all love each other for who we are and compliment each other like crazy. i feel like these girls would do anything for me if i asked. we all support each other in what we do, its wonderful! I have made some great friends doing this, and i'm so grateful! its so nice to not worry about if someone doesn't like you, or is talking crap about you, or likes to play stupid high school games. we don't do that in this group! its so nice to finally feel comfortable in a group of friends. 

i've had a rough time with friends in the past year. I've lost a couple because of stupid immature fights. But i've also GAINED some awesome friends in this past year. I'm glad I got to let go of the people who were causing me problems and bad feelings & to be surrounded with people who have it together!
