Christmas Eve.

On Christmas Eve, Andrew grew up with the tradition of going in the mountains to get mistletoe.

i liked the sound of that, so we did it for the first time this year.

i was sick and ornery but glad we did it!

then we made "bringerman"(that's what jax  calls them)

then we looked at christmas lights...

then we came home and read the bible nativity story.

then jax opened a present.

then we got him to bed and we watched "miracle on 34th street" & at had our traditional cheeseball, crackers and salami, eggnog, sprite, coke.  i was still kinda sick :(

then we sang christmas hymns from the hymn book.

this will definitely be a tradtion every year from now on. andrew and i loved it!
(we both love to sing)
