A Happy Fathers Day!

Ok, our computer still isn't back to its self, but depending on it's mood, I can be on it for short amounts of time...usually. So, I'm gonna give it a try.


Yesterday was Andrew's first Father's Day (last year only counted for me, because I was the pregnant one!) Anyway, we had a really fun day. Good thing Fathers Day is on Sunday because that is Andrew's one and only day off. So we usually try to squeeze as much as we can into every Sunday. It started with him opening the gift I got him- the Indiana Jones movie collection! Andrew loves movies, so I figured I couldn't go wrong with that. Andrew got some coupons from someone he installed for. One of the coupons was for the Memphis Riverboats! So at 2:30, we boarded the "Island Queen" river boat. It was a 90 minute cruise on the Mississippi River!! It was pretty cool, but very HOT! There was a/c on the first floor of the boat, but it had no view! So we had to choose between staying cool and looking through windows, or sweating in the hot sun with a great view. We chose the view, but Jaxon didn't approve. He hates the heat. We were able to stay on the second floor for awhile, then we had to come down where the a/c was. The boat didn't go very far or very fast, but it was still pretty cool to be on the Mississippi River! It was huge! We learned that it's over 2,000 miles long! The water wasn't very clean, and I just kept imagining an alligator would pop it's head up any moment, but no, we didn't see any!

After the Riverboats, we came back to our apartments and APX was having a bbq at the pool! So, we put our suits on, and headed to the pool! Fun!!

To make the day even better for Andrew, he found some guys that were going to play tennis. He loves Tennis and hasn't played forever. He was so excited to play! It was really good for him. We had a great day!

Andrew is such a great Dad to Jaxon. He is so good to help me get up in the night to feed him, and even though I know he hates it, he changes Jaxon's poopy diapers without complaining! He is the best! We love and appreciate you, Andrew!

And to my Dad, we love ya too! Thanks for everything you do for us! You are wonderful. I would post a picture of my Dad, but he wouldn't ever forgive me. Right, Dad? Ha Ha.
