Pictures that make me smile

Each of these pictures probably deserves it's own special post and a long explanation. But to be quite honest, I've become a lazy blogger & let my random daily snapshots add up.

This makes me smile everytime I walk past it. Not only is it because I have the stinkin cutest kid in the whole entire world, BUT ALSO I made this frame. Well, kind of. I bought these frames ULTRA CHEAP at the DI for like $4 each. I painted them and sanded them! I wish I had a before picture so you could see how ugly they were! I am so proud of myself! He He!

My Mom gave us a bunch of apples. I did not know what to do with them. I tried arranging them creatively in a bowl on my table. I guess I could have looked up a good recipe involving lots of green apples. But what sounded the most fun, was taking pictures of them! They are so pretty and fall-y!

I love when Jaxon wants to color. He loves colors. We've been trying to teach him the different colors, but he's not quite getting it yet. He loves to ask "whats colors that?" He's so cute. He sees a color and says "blue red". I love this guy.

We're also trying to figure out if he's right handed or left handed.....he uses BOTH!

This didn't make me smile when it happened, but it's funny now. It's totally the scene everyday at mealtime here at the Talbot house.

My child DOESN'T eat.

He hates it.

I love these yellow bushes. These pictures were taken up at my Dads ranch.

Here's Jaxon after he had just woken up. He goes through this confused stage for like an hour. He has a rough time waking up.

Messy man. Love this.

Ok. I love these shoes. So much. They make me SOOO happy. $10 at Wal-mart. I kind of want to go buy more for when these get worn out.

Now this is just sweet.

There's a random post for ya!

Going Private, Maybe

Ok , so I've thought about this.
And as much of a BIG , HUGE pain in the butt it is for everyone involved, it may be a wise decision.
That is ONLY if I can get my Mom to figure out how to get and use a google account. If not, then well, nope, won't be going private.
So, I am gonna give it a whirl anyway.
Please leave me your email if you want to be added!
Thanks
P.s. are the pictures in the next post cut off for anyone else ? We just got a new computer, and for some reason it's not agreeing with my picture sizes.

Richfield Trip (pleasure NOT business!)

Since the concert got cancelled, & I spent most of the night crying about it, we tried and tried to think of something that could be equal in fun-ness. Camping sounded great. Except not with Jaxon. Basically everything sounded fun minus Jaxon. (We do love Jaxon, but we NEEDED a break!) We finally decided that if we went to Richfield, My mom would gladly take Jax. We could go fourwheeling and go get pumpkins.
SO, WE DID.

One of the things that I look forward to every fall, is this! Going to Richfield to my Grandpa's Pumpkin Patch! It's like EVERYBODYS favorite place to go get pumpkins. He takes you on a hayride & lets you pick out pumpkins. He's the cheapest too. He gives away a lot free pumpkins to family (of course!) and schools, and probably anyone else who looks like they need it. He's just really nice that way.

We came here last year & Jax wasn't really old enough to appreciate it. Now, since he's obsessed with every vehicle there is, and can recognize and say it, HE LOVED IT! He's such a smartie pants!

Here's my Dad, who actually for once, doesn't purposely have his hand over his face. Maybe he's getting used to it by now, or maybe its because he's losing weight. He's lost about 50 lbs in like a month and a half. I'm proud of the old guy. Jax looks ultra ornery, but don't let him fool you. He actually does that face when he is LOVING something. He's so into it, that there's no time for things like smiling.

Oh and here's andy & I before we went to the Pumpkin Patch. We had sort of a "date". We went on a long fourwheeler ride that was VERY much needed. (It's been soooooo long since we've been on a good ride)

And here's the famous man himself. Making dreams come true everyday. Haha, is that cheesy or what? Gotta love this cool Grandpa.

Here's a delightful picture of Jax & myself. Jax looks like he can't wait to get away from his awful mother & I look like I need to go get ready for the day. Both are infact very true.

Heres a train that my Grandpa built. He's amazing like that. They give train rides out at the pumpkin patch too. Jax loved it, obviously. Just look at that serious/mad face.

Ok , there's a smile.

My Dad taught Andrew to ride the tractor. Andrew loves being manly like that. I've yet to learn.

Here's a picture my Mom will be thanking me for. Yes, you're welcome mom!

Here are 2 hayrides going on at once. I was thrilled to get this shot. Actually 3 hayrides (I'm on one too!)

I wish we could skip winter and spring and always have summer & fall. Best days ever.

Movie Maniac

I've got to admit, there is ONE thing I like about this stinky age. He is finally understanding things. He wants to learn everything. Therefore, he has an attention span. He loves movies. Lately it's "Nemo" that he's loving most. Better than Little Mermaid, right?
I just love his cute face when he watches movies. He's so concerned about the characters. My cute man.
This almost makes up for no naptime. It gives me a huge break.

Falling in Love

Every year, I fall in love all over again.

The smells. The cool, crisp air. The holidays coming up.

Apparently Jaxon doesn't quite appreciate the beauty.
Give him time.

Or maybe he's crying because we dressed him like this...
he doesn't have any winter stuff that fits him anymore.
poor kid.

We left the hot city in search of some changing leaves.
Oak grove is a great place for that!

I love love love it!

It's The most wonderful time of the year!

Did I mention I love you, fall?
You're welcome to stay as long as you want.
HAPPY FALL!!!

Relax. Be nice. Whatever.
