Phoneless

Our cell phone took it's last and final breath a couple days ago. It can't charge because something inside of the charger part is all messed up and bent. Therefore, it's dead. It's weird. I feel naked and confused now without it. So...if you have tried to call me, NO I am not ignoring you. I am terribly sorry if you thought I was. Like Shaylah, I am sorry if you tried to call and invite us to the park! Dangit! We do have a home phone, but it's just not the same. You are still welcome to call it if you need to. Since my blog isn't private and I don't know what kind of crazies might be reading these very words, I am not gonna post my number. But you can ask if you need it. ALSO if you have an old phone laying around your house that you don't use anymore, and want to get rid of it, let me know! New cell phones are killer expensive! Thanks.

Trevor's Tropical Blizzard

My Brother Trevor is the cutest little kid ever. Last summer he started a snow cone business in Richfield. He saved up his money and bought a snow cone machine and lots of flavors. I helped him set things up and start selling them. He did so well with it. Kids were lining up like crazy to get a snow cone! Can you believe it? In little Richfield!? Yes, he did well. Good job , my entrepreneuing (is that a word?) little Bro. He is whole-heartedly dedicated to his snow cone business. So, if you are ever in the little town of Richfield, stop by and get yourself a snow cone. Tell him I sent you. But if you don't make it to Richfield, stop by his blog (that I helped him make) and leave him a comment! It would make his day.

More Bunny...

Jax loves this bunny. He'll just stare at it and giggle. It's the cutest thing really. But he thinks it's a kitty. He says "kitly", "kitly" to it! He basically loves kitties. But a bunny is just gonna have to do for now. The Bunny has been so sweet and good. She just sits there and doesn't make a noise. Doesn't want or demand anything. She's so soft and cuddly and nice! Never knew a bunny could make such a good pet! She's been really good with Jax too. Jax gets so excited and screams and laughs really loud around her and she doesn't really do anything. She doesn't bite or scratch. She seems real patient with him! It's awesome. Her are some cute pics of them...

Kim & Tyler

We were lucky enough to have our awesome friends Kim & Tyler come down to St . George this week. Kim took our sealing pictures, and did a FABULOUS job! I can't wait to get them and show them off! They stayed for a whole week but we were lame and had to work a TON and could only hang out with them once. We went swimming and played games later. It was so fun! They are so crazy and fun to hang out with! I love them!!! Thanks for coming Tyler and Kim!

Here is a sad story:

We met Tyler and Kim last summer in Washington DC when we were out with APX. Little did we know, they were from Logan. We also lived in Logan. We DID NOT know eachother. We became friends, then when we came back to Utah, we moved at one end of the state, while they were at the other. They were in Logan that whole dreadful time we were. The whole year and a half! It would have been nice to know that! It makes me so mad to think about!

We got a bunny! My sister-in-law gave us her last baby. Well kind of baby. Teenager.

Jax loves her. She's a good pet so far because she prefers to do her own thing and isn't way demanding like a dog would be.

Help!

I just realized that I have NO IDEA how to parent. Up until now, it's been easy and basic. Feed, change diapers, naptime, bathtime, playtime....

BUT NOW

Every single one of those things listed above has become a challenge. Torture. Jaxon fights me on every little single thing I try to do. He's becoming out of control, and YES a big big huge BRAT!

AND

I have no idea what to do. I've spanked his butt a few times because I was SOOOOO mad. I know a few things. Like never let the kid think they are in control, because once that happens you can kiss any form of respect , discipline and authority goodbye! If he sees that I lose my temper when he loses his temper, he knows he gained control. I can't lose my temper anymore! Easier said than done! He freaks out at me about EVERYTHING! And I am sooooo not ready to cater and baby his every tantrum. NO WAY! I don't want one of those kind of kids. The kids that stomp their feet, and scream and kick and cry because they know that will get them what they want. NO! I refuse!

I know that Jax is old enough now to know better. I know that. People say, 'oh he's just a baby.' No, he's definitely not just a baby. He's a toddler. And it's my job to teach him how to act like a civilized human being.

I know a lot of Moms read this. Moms that have been through this. Moms that can give me any kind of tips.

WHAT THE HECK AM I SUPPOSED TO DO??

Jaxon is in his crib right now screaming because he was throwing his food all brat-like on the floor. I'm not putting up with that.
