It's the sweater

Yeah, go ahead say it. I'm odd. I'm just not likin' the collage I made. I don't know why, I just don't like it. I think these pictures will look better on their own instead of bunched all together like that. Some people know how to make way cute collages. But I don't like it. But I'm not gonna erase it. I'm just gonna post these pictures again. So sorry, you'll have to view them twice. But they look better like this, trust me. (I have a lot of time on my hands. While others bake, work-out, or clean...I blog) I just love this sweater. Love love love it!

This is where you'll mainly find Jaxon these days. He's like another extremity on my body now.

So I am sure you want an explanation as to this bright yellow background and the tear glistening on Jaxon's cheek. We were at the park and I saw this yellow window thing. I HAD to put Jaxon in it. I love bright colorful walls as backgrounds. Especially to match his vibrant sweater. Jaxon was not as pysched with this idea. The poor kid.

14 months old

Click on it and it will go bigger!

My kind of fun!

So, there are these horses down the street from where we live. I always drive past them, & wish I had my camera. Well, today, I finally did it. While Jax was asleep I walked down there in my pjs with my camera. And oh, what a blast it was! I've never taken pictures of horses. Just hasn't been an interest of mine. But lately, about my only interest has been taking pictures period. So...
Whaddaya think?

this is my fave. I wish I could make it bigger. Anyone know how to do that?

Diet, Ball & School

Wow, it is 2009! Here is what we have all been up to lately in the new year:

ME: I am on a diet. It's called the fat burning soup diet. It's made of cabbage, tomato , celery, onion, & green pepper. The soup sounds horrid, but isn't that bad. I flavored it with seasoning. I'm pretty sick of eating it though. It's a 7 day diet and it gives me instruction on what to eat every one of those days. Like day 1, I can only eat fruits, the soup, and drink water. Day 2, I can only eat veggies, the soup and drink water. Day 3 (the day I am on now), I can eat fruits & veggies, the soup, and water. It's so hard. I never realized how much crap I was eating every day until now, when I can't eat any of it. I love chocolate so much, and yes I have cheated a little!! At the end of today I am supposed to have lost 5-7 lbs! By day 7, I am supposed to have lost 10-17 lbs! Wow!! I really really really hope this works! I will let you know! My Mom, Dad and Bro have done it and it did work for them!

JAX: Jaxon's all-time fave thing in the whole wide world is a "ball'. He wakes up and the first thing he says is "BA!" All throughout the day, it's "BA!", "BA!" I'm sure the last thing he thinks of before drifting off to sleep is "ball". He is so flippin cute though. He calls everything that looks at all circular a "ball". He thinks balloons are balls, and oranges. He is obsessed! He loves to pick them up and carry them around and bounce them. Or roll them along the ground and chase after them. Andrew is so thrilled that his son is already into sports. A few more years, and they can play together!

ANDREW: Between working 2 jobs, eating & sleeping, Andrew has taken up another hobby because he's just not busy enough. Yes, now Andrew is going to school. He plans to be a PTA (that's a Physical Therapist Assistant, for those of you who like me, thinks of a group of Mothers getting together after school). Dixie is getting the program next spring. So right now he is just working on pre-reqs. He is taking 2 classes this semester! I feel bad for him, but hopefully everything will be ok. He's pretty smart so I think he'll do ok.

That's us!

Zion!

I have been begging Andrew to go to Zion for SOOOOO long now. I haven't been there since we got engaged (yes, he proposed to me there). That was May 2006! We've been wanting to go back, but it's so expensive. Well, Andrew was so wonderful to get us this Zion year pass. Now we can go over and over and over. I think it's so beautiful there, and the hikes are fun. I would love to see it in every season.

Well for New years day, we decided to go! We bundled up the little man and went on an icy hike! It was sooo cold. Lots of the trails were covered in ice. It was still so beautiful. The fresh air felt great. Zion looks crazy but awesome with snow!
