finally, i'm blogging this!
(warning: not for viewers with weak stomachs)
6am monday morning August 1st
andrew putting on his O.R. garb-- his favorite part about the whole c-section experience.
this is it! YIKES!
(being wheeled down to the O.R.)
outside the O.R. getting ready to go in alone for prep.
strapped down to the table, bottom half completely numb & READY TO DO THIS THING!
The exact time Mason made his appearance into this world.
(photography by andrew)
here he is!
yep- that's blood all over him. (be glad i did these photos in black/white)
here they are cleaning out my insides....eeeww.
i meet mason!
( my hair looks like a polygamist!)
mason's 2nd little bumhole.
Dr's were concerned about him having spina bifida.
turns out he is FINE, he'll just have a cute little butt dimple for the rest of his life.
jax meets mason.
(he's a bit concerned about the little bit of blood still on mason's head)
first family pic.
jax still doesn't know what to think of mason.
my mom who there are NO pictures of! how did that happen?!
i'm really mad about that!
jax warmed up pretty quick to his little brother!

boog has that same 'sinus'. nothing to worry about at all. the doc told us the same thing, worried about spina bifida, but the chances are super, super, super slim.
congrats on the arrival of another sweet little.
these pics are fabulous..even the bloody one... it's such a magical thing. I had a friend growing up and he had a second whole JUST LIKE THAT! We always made fun of him when he mooned us, just make sure Mason does't moon a whole lot of pl ;). You are a beautiful mommy and mason is perfect!
Just precious! I love the immediate bonding between brothers.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE all the pictures!! I'm so glad Andrew was able to take so many! He did such a good job! I still can't get over how good your belly looks in that first pic!! ♥
