Eh-Pane

Jaxon's new obsession, of course aside from balls and cars, are Airplanes. We took him up to the airport and he absolutely loved it. He looooooves airplanes. Everytime we are outside, and he hears a noise, he thinks it's an airplane. He points up to the sky and says "Eh- Plane". Cutest kid ever.

Lately

Lately this poor little blog has not been getting the attention it's normally used to. It's been a whole week again! It's because I have been a busy, busy woman. No, I'm not a woman. Girl. I've been a busy girl. I've been doing a TON of photography, which has truly made me happy, but it's A LOT of work! We went up to Richfield where I did my brothers and my cousins senior pics!! I also did a few of my cute cousins too!

I didn't get many pictures of us up there just playing around, dangit. But here are some of Jax, Baga (Grandpa), and Zeus. Jax has such a blast there.

Smartie Pants

Jaxon, 19.5 months old.

Jax is getting so big. And I swear it happened overnight!! He's the cutest guy in the world.
Here are some of the cute things he does now:
(I don't wanna forget them!)
* He's really, REALLY into asking, "whass at?" (what's that?) He points to EVERYTHING and wants to know what it is. He's so curious and just wants to learn everything.
* He tries to mimic and repeat everything we say. He's getting pretty good at it too. We
really have to start watching what we say now!
*He remembers just about everything we teach him! His brain is like a little sponge, and it soaks up everything! He'll totally surprise me by pointing at something and saying what it is, when I could swear I only told him it once! Crazy, crazy smart guy.
*He says soooo many words, I can't even keep up anymore. When I ask him if he wants something, he'll say "K", and that means yes. He says "side" when he wants to go outside. He's learning what all the animals say. He says "Mew" for "moo". He says "Baga" for Grandma & Grandpa. And "Doggoc" for Hotdog. Just love it!
*He still loves Kitties. No matter where we are or what we are doing , I swear he spots a cat. (Or what he thinks looks like a cat). I was feeding him and he starts to say "Kitel, Kitel", I look around and sure enough, there was a little teeny tiny picture of an evil cat face on a firework box!
*He says "please" and "thank you". (Pitz, Kanku) He sometimes doesn't get WHEN to say them, but at least he is saying them!
*He understands what I say! If I tell him to go get a diaper, he will! If I say, clean up your toys, please, he will!! It's awesome!
I just love this stinky man who is growing up so fast! I am actually quite enjoying this stage of his life. It's nice to understand and be understood.
Now, if we could just get him potty-trained (haha, yeah I know), This would be the ideal age and he could stop growing up!

Happy Fathers Day!

Andrew is such a great Dad & husband. We are so thankful for everything he does around here! My life would suck without him. And yes, I did just quote that stupid Kelly Clarkson song, which actually has grown on me a little bit.

So, I stole this way cute idea from my friend, Kim. She had me take pics of her & her son with these cute signs, so I had her take some pics of us!! Love it!

Happy Fathers Day to my Dad too! Or "Baga" , as Jaxon would call him. You are wonderful, and we love you! Have a great day!!

A No X-box night!

The 'X-box wives' or should I say the 'X-box loathing wives' decided that they had had enough of it. The night after night of neverending, pointless X-box playing had to come to an end.

We had to take a stand. And we did.

Monday night, we decided to get the guys' butts off the stupid X-boxes, and do something better. Better for us, better for them (even though they don't know it), and better for the kids. We all have sons, and quite frankly, I don't want mine growing up playing X-box all the time.

So we went to Red Cliffs. Roasted some hot dogs. Had some family & friends time.

Not only that, we put those stinky guys to work:

Being productive. Gathering firewood.

And we let the boys... well, be boys. It's good for 'em.

I swear I heard this conversation take place!
haha yeah right!

WHAT??? DID WE HEAR THAT RIGHT?

us, as well as the boys were in completely and utter shock.

Oh, and this bird was a sneaky little guy, dodging my camera left and right. But in the end, I caught him. He knows he's pretty.

It was such a glorious night, that I was too busy having fun to pick up my camera for the remainder of it. We had dessert, watched the boys get filthy, then went back to Lloyd & Stephs house for some crazy games! And it was just that!!
Thanks wives, we'll have to do that again sometime. And the sooner the better!

For Daddy

Here's an early fathers day present for Andrew:
Cause I know he just loves when I do this to our son!

We got in!

So, I have to brag because I simply cannot hold it in any longer (since I found out a whole 20 minutes ago!)

I feel like we were finally cut a break, and this is why:

We got into the low-income townhomes!! Yay!

We have tried countless times to get into subsidized housing, only to barely not make it. Well, this time it wasn't hard at all! We got in like a week later!

Did I say YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!?

So...

WE WILL BE MOVING!
On July 16th!
Into a waaaaay nicer place, WITH a 2 car garage!
For waaaaaaaay cheaper rent!

Yes! I am so glad these exist for people who need them. It lifts such a burden off our shoulders to not have to be constantly worrying about paying rent every month! Now, if we can just get Andrew through school for the next couple of years, everything will be fine and dandy!

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!
Relax. Be nice. Whatever.
