5 things

Here are 5 things about each of us at this moment in time..

Andrew
- surviving school, work, pregnant wife, and energetic 3 yr old
- dealing with some pretty severe allergies
- still managing to be a good Dad to his stinky Jax
- trying to support Alecia in her crazy endeavors
- enjoying the sunshine that he so desperately needs.

Alecia
- feeling the Mason man stinky kick around and loving it.
- Patiently and impatiently being the mother of Jaxon.
- trying hard to look at the summer and the heat as a positive thing..4 more months..yikes.
- fighting the constant temptation of taking 3 naps a day.
- getting quite plump.

Jaxon
- is 3 and a half.
- just got a buzz haircut.
- is excited to start pre-school in August!
- loves doing "puzzlemania" books with Mom.
- loves playing "superheros" with Dad.
- will talk and talk and talk and talk for days.
- still doesn't like to eat.
- earns quarters by cleaning his room, pooping in the potty and eating his food.
- poops in the potty for the most part.
- said "actually" today.
- his new thing is "WOW mom, you don't like me"
- loving kids and being social waaaay too much for his own good.
- becoming more independent by the day.
- no naps, but agrees to "quiet time" in his room for an hour or so.
- could watch cartoons ALLLLL DAY LONG.
- enjoying this warm weather and looking forward to swimming and splash pad time!
- still loves talking about scary things like halloween, mean animals, or bad dreams.
- this is way more than 5!

Mason
- Yes, that's his name.
- Enjoys doing his daily aerobics in Alecia's uterus.
- Doesn't give his Mother gas, therefore, he may not be such a stinker.
- must enjoy fruity , tart things because thats what he wants his Mom to eat.
- is second guessing joining this crazy family, but is looking forward to meeting jax.

the ZOO!

A few weeks ago, we went to the ZOO, DISNEY ON ICE, & JUNGLE JIMS
with my mom & dad.

it was great fun.
for now , i just have pics of the zoo.
i would not suggest going to the zoo in march. its yucky. its freezing, everything is dead, and lots of the animals are not out.

but i do suggest going with a zoom lens! i got some dang close up photos!
it was so fun!

St. P's Day.

We LOVE holidays around here.
anything to break up the monotony of everyday.
i love finding reasons to celebrate!
for this specific holiday, i am SOOOO thankful I have kid(s).
i have been waiting for jax to be old enough to appreciate a leprechaun treasure hunt.
He LOVED every second of it!
(i plan to do this every year until he calls me out on it, like my little brother did when i did it with him. sob, sob)

so here's what i did:
i wrote a poem made of clues (acting like who wrote it was a leprechaun named pat)
i put them on ten different clue cards and taped them around the house, one leading to the other,
until finally it led to.......

A POT OF GOLD!
(pon-a-gold according to jax)

the leprechaun left a few different types of gold.
-chocolate coins
-plastic coins
- and REAL gold dollars!

Jax thought this was cool because he got to go to the dollar store and choose out 3 $1 toys, then pay himself.

and of course...
A GREEN DINNER!

We rented this movie,
but our VCR decided to stop working, so we didn't get to watch it.

Relax. Be nice. Whatever.
