Lil' update

Sorry, not a lot has been going on around here lately....

Well, actually I've been kind of busy. Being social. Ya know, throwing parties & such! Yeah, can you believe that? New concept for me. My friend & I had a party gals party. It was way fun & interesting. If you don't know what party gals is, too bad for you. I'm not going into great depth about it here on my family blog. It's not really that kind of thing. I'll just say it was fun & I believe women need that in their lives!

I've also been busy doing crafts. My friend Kim has awoken my inner craftiness once again. I was too obsessed with photography, and without knowing it, was ignoring my other hobbies that I do so enjoy. So, thanks to Kim, I have some pretty cool projects I'm working on! I'll have to post pictures when I'm done. Fun stuff.

Andrew is busy being the workaholic he is and loves. No, he hates it and I feel so bad for him. He works 7 days a week again. He works his butt off too. He's always moving; crawling through attics, climbing on rooftops, lifting boxes....all day long! The poor guy! And he's taking 3 college classes. And as if that isn't enough, he has me to deal with when he gets home! Yeah, I try to take that into consideration and back off once in awhile, but it's tough!

And Jaxon...he is busy being a stinky toddler boy. He loves movies, which makes me so happy. I never thought I'd let my child watch 3 movies a day. I thought it was awful. I said to myself, I'm gonna read and teach that kid all day'. Yep, not happenin. Movies save sanity. Sanity is important. He loves the Little Mermaid the best. Still. We just got Finding Nemo & Sword and the Stone for him. He'll watch them, but it's the Mermaid that he talks about all day. He's such a cute stinker!

Fo-le-le-lers

My Mom & Dad came down to visit for their anniversary. Of course they got Jax a little toy. He's obsessed with fourwheelers now.

I wish some of these pictures were clearer. This stinky man WILL NOT hold still for even a half a second!

I love how serious he is about his fourwheelers. When he first got them, he didn't even smile, he was that serious about them. When Jaxon is REALLY, REALLY into something he doesn't show any emotion, which is so not like him.

And yes.....he IS SLEEPING with his fourwheeler!

September 11th

ZOO!

For Labor Day, since Andrew had it off, we went to the Las Vegas Zoo. Sadly, it did NOT meet our expectations. Maybe because we are comparing it to the Hogle & DC Zoos. This one was a very, very sad excuse for a Zoo. A lot of the animals had died or looked like they were going to die. Having said that, we still had fun. Well, Jax did. He really cared most about the birds. Silly boy.

September Swimmin'

I do Love St. George. The heat is mostly out of control, but there is one good thing about that. During these months: March(ish), April, May, June, July, August, September, October & maybe November, THIS is what can be done!

(November is probably pushing it, but I don't know)

Sadly, I feel like I didn't do quite enough of it. Gladly, we still have a couple of months to make up for it!

Here's Jax driving us to the pool. He did an excellent job might I add.

Jax is a pretty big fan of the pool. He FINALLY played all on his own this time!! Oh, it was GREAT!

Jax wasn't so sure about these goggles. We tried and tried to put them on him and have him actually leave them on. We succeeded for about 4 seconds. We then forced him underwater. He didn't love it.




I love when Andy wears the goggles. No, I seriously do. He looks totally different, and kinda hot. I tell him his mouth looks like Edward on Twilight. I don't expect anyone to agree. I am really really weird like that.

There are many serious things to be contemplated when you're 2 and at the pool. Just ask Jax.

Sorry, there are no pictures of me. Wait, I am in one. My feet are in the first one. And that's it. I don't feel too bad about it, my swimming suit body is not pretty. Maybe someday I'll work on that!!

2 in 2 months!

I could have and should have posted these pictures when he actually turns 2. But I took them and I hate waiting. So here's a little about our almost 2 year old! Who by the way, is the HARDEST kid EVER to photograph.
